If I change ball joints (lower and upper) and tie rod ends Do I need to change other parts of the suspension like shock absorbers, springs etc etc, if these parts are in bad shape?
If I dont do it, is this going to damage my new ball joints?
Thank you.

No...it shouldn't damage the new ball joints etc...you will still just have the old ride quality but if you replace these other things on your list it will ride so much better i'm going to do the same eventually like new shocks etc..

could anyone else clarify ? i'm almost positive that no other suspension as shocks would be damaged ?

It's fine. That's the best part about suspension components, most of them can be changed individually without having to change something else.

On the flipside, it is easier to change these other things while it's already apart.
