Swapping Factory Stereos

I just got a new iPod and I'm severely dissapointed that I cannot plug it directly into my 2001 Ex Sport with in-dash 6 disc changer. My dad has a 2002 or 2003 Mazda B2300 pickup with a factory single cd stereo and I know I can plug an AUX adapter into it. My question is: will the B2300 stereo plug directly into my factory harnesses, so I can still use my sub, etc... or will it require some re-wiring? Also, can I plug the in-dash changer from the Sport into the B2300's harnesses? I hope one of you guys has some expertise on this. Thanks in advance.

You will have to do some re-wiring to get the B2300 head unit into the Explorer. I am pretty sure you will have to do the same thing for the cd changer to from the Explorer to the B2300. Wiring both ways.

Thanks...I don't guess it could ever be as simple as buying an adapter harness, eh?
