Swapping Fuel injectors?

I was wondering, will the fuel injectors from a 1996 or there abouts 5.0 Explorer, fit in a 1998 V6 Sohc explorer motor? I have been told they are the same ?

I heard they would a friend of mine looked around for a performance fuel pump for his V6 and could not locate one, then he learned that a 5.0 Mustang pump would work.

I know that lots of fuel injectors are interchangabel for different engines the manufacturer produces.

The fuel injectors are probably both the EV1 style, however if the flow rates are different, say 19#'s and 24#'s, then the MAF has to be recalibrated or replaced or the car will run like crap.
