Swapping parts from a 92 Ford Explorer to a 93 Ranger.

I have a 1993 Ranger 3.0Liter 5spd manual tanfercase it had a lock up in tranny on highway so tranny is gone ,But I am wondering if a 1992 Explorer with 4.0L 5spd manual tranny will bolt up to the 1993 3.0 Liter motor.

Welcome to this forum! You should be able to swap those transmissions, but the bell housings will be different. The bolt pattern is different for the 3.0L & 4.0L. Do you have 2WD or 4WD?
