Ok, got the sway bar off, now trying to get the old bushings off so I can put the poly's on.

Currently working on the cut/tear/rip/chisel method of getting them out. Would be interested in learning how others do it, perhaps a more elegant method.

hey do any of you guys have access to a hydraulic press? i would press it out just like a u-joint cap, a socket that is just a bit smaller than the inside of the hole and press it through., let it fall out the bottom, the biggest challenge will be holding the thing straight while you move the press handle.
hope this helps.

I ended up pressing them out in a vice, using a smaller socket on one end and a larger socket on the other.

Difference in ride quality over the stock bushings is hard to say. I've been running with the sway-bar links disconnected for so long I can't really tell. The old bushings were very mushy though.

the press is the best way to get them out if you have one. Otherwise get a lighter, some lighter fluid and burn the bushing for about 5 minutes. Then you can just punch them out easily. Also a propane torch is really nice if you have one for this job.
