I bought 2 of the sway bar link rebuilding kits and rebushed both sides.
One thing I noticed is that the old bushings had the metal tube bonded to the rubber of the bushing, so that when everything was bolted in, bending any part of the linkage had sort of a spring back action.
The new bushings are 2 peices plus the metal bolt tube, and instead of having that nice spring back action, the linkage just moves smoothly and has no spring back action.
Did I do something wrong here?
