Swaybar Disconnects, diffrent type Do you think these will work?

ok, I stumbled on these while looking at air compressors
really neat idea but how well does everyone think they will work/help the flex of the front end... I'm not worried about the install/fit, the X swaybar is 23mm same as the CJ7 so that shouldnt be a problem
If it seems to be a good idea I might get one and trail test it

I'm thinking about trying to make a cable operated disconnect, and this is the method I would be going with (broken in the middle with solid links.... Should be fine but you stilll have to crawl underneath, I think it would be cheaper to just use a hitch pin in place of one of or both bolts.

Savage Wolf: Do search. I bought some for $100 a set but they wouldn't work with my lift. Some posted how to fab your own. They work great and only costed about $15.

ummm, this disconnect is for the front sway bar, the rear I dont care about, its going to be removed from my truck anyways, hitch pins instead of bolts wont work on the front swaybar also...

other problem I have with unbolting the front or anyother way that deals with the links, there isnt room to do that with my duel shock set up...

looks like a good idea however I doubt that the links would work the center part may be the same size however the links are way off ours are a kinda bent shape and those are straight, come on guys its wheelin not prom put some pins in there and then get a little dirty and wala el cheepo removo!

well, I'll skip using the end links, the big problem I have with pins is that with my shocks i dont have room to even get the bolts out of the top of the links, and the bottom bolt holds my shocks in (refer to pics in earyler post)
the question i need answered is does anyone think that disco'ing the center of the swaybar will allow enough flex to make it worth doing...

It could work. A problem I see is putting the pin back in. the truck would have to be perfectly level to get it reconnected. there is no leverage there to twist the bar any to line it up. IMO it will disconect and allow the flex but suck to reconnect
