Swiss Cheese Airbox?

Finally got mine out! Had to get a scredriver under the two bottom ones and pry them out. Not fun by no means, I could not get the lower ones to release any other way. I was pulling perty hard and was afraid I was going to break something. Before I put it back in I did WD-40 them though. BTW have not drove it yet but the sound from the intake was atleast worth it IMO.

nevermind drilling holes...get a dremel (or something else to cut plastic) and cut all four sides out.Me and my brother both did this to our explorers and there is a noticeable difference.You also get that cool, throaty sound when you stomp on it.as long as you leave enough near the corners of the box for it to be strong still.Pull the bottom of the airbox right out, it is only a 15 min. mod.Just make sure any cuts are BELOW the bottom of your K&N.
