Does anyone know of where I can find out about local car shows or sound competitions? because I would like to go watch some to see what I would be up against.... Oh yeah I am currently saving for a second W7 and amp..... I am thinking about maybe....... Getting a crap car from the junk yard for like 100 bucks ... like a honda or something (as long as it runs) so I dont have to drive into Philly or other places with my X.

man road that looks really nice i really like that panel you got over the cargo panel. man if you would just get a 1000 watt amp or another 500 watts into that beast that would really really pound hard! Also do you still have a stock altenator and what amps is it? Are you going to put in a cap? Also is that a ported box? sw33t keep up the thumpin'

500/1 jl audio amp... Stock altenator (no need for a new one with only 500 watts running) No need for a cap right now... When improve my amp to a higher wattage then I will get a cap. Na its a sealed box... I need to get an amp for the front components if i wanna go with a ported box because it would overplay all the other music ..

Your definitely correct about setting off car alarms. I can set them off with my one 10" and only a 180 watt amp.

Ok I am prob. gonna add new components in the front and a new amp for them. I am also thinking about either upgrading my amp or buying another w7 with a different amp. (no this will not all happen this summer) Do you guys think its a good Idea?

I'd say if you can set of alarms now, you don't need another sub. As for components I'd suggest INFINITY KAPPA or ANYTHING BOSTON. If you're not deaf after that, your hearing is definately super-human.

what price range you want? Infinity 6.5 component 625 kappas i think are like $150 on ebay 90 rms. The infinity perfects 6.5 are like $200 ebay at 100 rms. Also the jbl gti are like $350 but they are 150 rms and they sound bad ass! I think im going to go with the Infinity those kappas they are fairly priced and sound good. I would get the jbl 1200.1 if it were me that w7 is asking you for some power You wont need 2 than.

I will upgrade my amp all in due time. I mean I wanna win some competitions in the future and stuff..... (i know i cant right now) but the amount of money I get paid doesnt really allow me to go overboard on my system yet... and anyway I wanna do some performace upgrades (exhaust, intake and such). I think one of those Ma Audio 4000 watt amps is being offered to me by one of my friends...... I am very very interested....

Yeah I was thinking about saving all my money and stuff till my 18th brithday and have my rents buy the exhaust or chip or speed grill/clear corners for x-mass living at home still has its ups.

Hey man, did you get dynomat installed in your X???

I just got the 10" W7 installed, with the 500/1 amp and the back rattles like CRAZY!!!

BTW, i havnt turned it up past 22 YET!

Nope the 2001 sport is built like a tank inside, only alittle rattle comes from the diver's side panel and the wiper blade rattles.
