I have a 87 ranger cab on my truggy. I have a 1350-54 doubler. I have been using a manual 1354 on the backside of the doubler. But i just can't figure out a good shifter set-up for it short of crawling under neath to shift. So here's my question.

CAn you wire up a 1354E to work from inside the truck without having to pull all the factory wiring/module/switch etc...

Possibly just run a few toggle switches to make the shift motor shift the tcase?

I have been kinda looking over the shcematics and i think i can possibly do it. Well i know i can do it, but i am not sure how i would be able to make it stop at 4hi.

any expierence?

I remember reading about someone who did just that. Made an electric shift using toggle switches instead of the shift computer. I haven't been able to find that thread but it is something I would like to mess with too..
