does any1 know if there are any aftermarket tail lights on the market for a 1997 explorer?i have looked everywhere and cant seem to find any. i saw some for a 98 and newer any chance the tails on a 97 and a 98 are the same? thanks

I've been looking for a pair of Alteeza tail lights for my '96 Ex. The only site I've found to offer any hope is on slammed.net; in conjunction with directauto.com. They say Alteeza lights are in development but you can reserve a set now. That's what I did because I want a set. So I suggest, go to the website, reserve a set and spread the word to anyone who has a '91-'97 Explorer. Maybe that will put a fire under the development process if they have a mass amount of people reserving a set.:redexp:

I agree. I want to get rid of my stock tail lights. It seems that directauto.com has been promising Alteeza lights for about a year according to other posts found on this website. But I won't give up my search.
