Paient= 92 explorer w/ 122,500 miles
symptoms
humming *not really loud but noticable* from right front wheel when drivign and moving the steering wheel to the left.
Random 4x4 engaging. just when ever it feels like the 4x4 engages and the truck pulls hard to the right.
squeeking from left front wheel when taking right turns....almost like a brake squeeking.
SOLUTIONS
1. Tomorrow i'll be taking off the hubs until i can afford to buy more, i know they are either BAD, or going bad. I can't deal with the random engaging of the 4x4 anymore, its really unsafe.
2. if that doesn't do it...fix ball joints....i can get ball joints and axle joints replaced for 200 plus cost of parts.
does this sound like a good troubleshooting method for my symptoms?
