So the trans in my sisters 96 4.0 EB isnt out, its the transfer case? or so i was told. Trans would not go in park or move in 2hi or 4hi but drives all over the place in 4L. Looking into getting a used TC but I am wondering what all will work. Havnt really looked underneath but im guessing the stock TC is a BW4405? I'm still not that great at transmissions and transfer cases. When looking for a used or rebuilt TC is this what i ask for or are there others that will bolt up in place of the stock unit? Thanks in advance.
