I have been trying to locate information on the EEC-IV and any programming available to us poor slobs that need to keep our Exs running. It will also help in trouble shooting to know what the $%#@ thing is supposed to do and how it reacts to strange inputs (A bad MAF for instance). I found this one yesterday. :D

It is a 24 page description of both physical and electrical operation as well as programming for the EEC-iv that has more information and "why does its" than anything else I've found. I also made a list of other sites with additional information but will wait to post until the moderator feels this is a good idea.:salute:

Thanks BrooklynBay. Since this information is for all FORDS with the 1st Generation EEC-IV Electrics and fuel control, I'll include other FORD products as well. Here are the WEB sites,

I'm still digging and have discovered the lineage stretches all the way to the De Tomaso Panterra. It uses an EEC-IV! More to come.
