Go ahead and sign me up! I haven't been in 3 years, and I've been wanting to go back for a while now.
My truck: 01 Ranger 4.56 gears, locked front/rear, Warn winch, rock sliders, 35s and I have all the necessary equipment and spare parts.
my other truck if i get it done: 91 ranger, 44/9" locked/spooled, on at leat 35's(trail only truck) {and I will try it all in this truck if it gets to go}
And just to rub it in a little for all you guys that live 100 or more mile away, I'm only like 60 miles, maybe a little more(I'm wrong a lot), away. I think I only go through a3-5 counties and I'm there!!! 2hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have seen some crazy stuff at Tellico. I've seen a SAS'd explorer suffer from axle wrap bad enough to take the rear drive shaft, only to have the front suspension take a dive, only an hour later ON THE WAY OUT to trailer. And then, blew out a tire just 20 yards away from dry ground!
Like Gerrald said, you can expect to have body damage, and if you come out without any, you got lucky. I would be willing to lead the "easy" group in my 01 and if the other truck gets to go, I'll do the other trails on a different day while we are there.
I'll give more info later and maybe post some pics too!!
