I am having a problem with my temp gauge, it wont go down when i shut the truck off, I basically have to leave it over night to get it down. I grounded the connector to the sending unit and the needle on the dash jumped to h then to c and jumped in between. I changed the thermostat and sending unit but the dash gauge is reading just under h after about 10 miles of driving. I dont have any leaks or loss of coolant, I have good heat so is this just a problem with the gauge on the dash or could it be a bigger problem like the water pump. I tried 2 different sending units with the same reults. thanks in advance for any help.
