temp guage not working

my temperature guage in my dash has decided it doesnt wanna move past cold, but my scanguage is still reading the temperature fine. All my other guages work..

This just started on mine. Ever find the solution? I got a P0125 code along with it.

P0125 Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control

Your problem probably isn't a gauge issue. Check your coolant temp sensor, and the wiring for it. Also look into hooking up a scanner and seeing what the computer's reading. The circuit seems to be fine for the coolant temp sensor (ECT), or that would throw a code itself; but check your grounds! Check your connector as well; i've seen rotted connections cause all types of issues.

Thanks. Now I just have to find a day to tear into it. Doesn't seem to be a common fix for this problem, from the threads I found.
