Hi, 97 Mountaineer 5.0 AWD, I recently changed my thermostat putting in a new 195 degree one and found out it was a much tougher job than I thought it was going to be. Not much room to hold thermostat housing and put the bolts in, but finally got it in. I noticed immediately after that my temperature gauge stopped
working. I mean it does move, but very little and it takes a long time to get it to move at all. When the needle on the temp gauge is still all the way down, I can feel the heater blowing hot air so I know something is not right.Worry now with warm weather coming that it might overheat on me and I will not know until it is too late. Any ideas on what it might be?
Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions.
