temperture gauge

my gauge has not moved in years. Got a long trip in Nov. The explorere is a 96 with v6. Where is the sensor for the gauge at? The location on the motor.

there are two, both are in the thermostat housing on the top from of the motor...follow the upper rad hose from the rad to the motor....where it connects is the t-stat housing. On the top of that hosuing are the two sensors, on sensor is for the gauge, the other is for the computer....
