Yep, It's True! I really need to get off-road again so all of my stories don't start out as " A long time ago.....Moab" " A long time ago....Slabs" "A long time ago....etc"

Besides, the lockers havn't helped me out on the pavement yet.....

Pretty sure I'll make it.

Thanks Rob

*Now rubbing screen to make sure it's clear*

Wow! that AWSOME Rob, it would be really good to see you again, your gonna bring your better half right? To enjoy the festivitie's with us.
It's not Gilmer, this'll be like a walk in the park for her.

Jeff - :navajo:

this looks like a ton of fun, But I have some work to get done if I plan on driving it to galveston. Think 31 mud terrains will be sufficient, or better to have the 33 TSL's? Hmm, better get the drive shafts rebuilt, hate to throw a u-joint in the middle of nowhere. So many things to do, so little time to do them in. Might be able to talk my g/f into joining me as well.

if you need help on anything let me know ill drive to help ya....i dont mind...plus you can get it done faster with more people helping

Who's Gofast? LOL!
Good to see you're still alive.. I'll be in Dallas the week after Christmas visiting my mom, let's hook up and visit if possible.

Jeff, this looks like a very neat trip; I wish I was there, because I would certainly join in on it if I was still in Texas.

I belive your 31's should be ok to run, as I'll prolly rate this as a 2, for deep water and mud upon changing weather and tidal conditions.
This will actually be a shake down run for a couple of us to get the bugs out of our new suspension set-ups.

Spouses are more than welcome as I will be bringing mine, and Zav will be bringing a female type also, and hopefully Kiaser and his spouse will be able to make the run too.

Wish you and David both could make it that would be fantastic!
I need to go Mountain bike riding with your brother, he's offered more than a few times, I'll call and harrass him in the next day or so.
Thanx again for the Herc Tour Wheels!

I got permission from the boss, so I am 85% sure that I am going to go. Looking forward to it!!

Nice to talk with you on the phone yesterday, glad to see things are looking up, if all goes well I hope to see you both on this trip :)
At least try and see if you can make the gathering spot before we head out on the ferry to Bolivar Point

I also have some friends who are the owners of a CJ5 and long time friends , that will join up with us at Clear Lake in thier mustangs, and follow us down to the meeting spot for gathering spot and eats, then tag with us on the ferry ride and to the end of the highway where it stops.
Unfortunatley the CJ5 is not ready to go on any trips, that's why they'll caravan with us in thier Mustangs till we get to High Island.

Also, if the friday meet up is too far fetched, then you can leave out and catch up with us on the Lost Highway Route 87 by calling us on the cell and meeting up where ever we're at. ;)

It's where the highway ends :D

I wish I could have my Navajo running by then but as slow as things are going I some how doubt it. Lack of time on my part. :(

I'm In!

I'm in. I'll bring my son on this trip. He's almost 16 now, so maybe I'll have to pass the 4X4 baton off to him soon? Or maybe build a Ranger or Explorer for him?

Anyway, I'm in. Cleared by the Boss.

It is really, really ,really good to be back. Look forward to wheelin again.

Gerald, I'll be in town all thru the Christmas break. Let's meet and catch up on stories. Your Explorer on 44's yet? It's been bigger everytime I saw it, so I'm curious what it's like now.

Thanks Rob

If my centurion gets here this might be a great time to test it. Try and locate a place to keep the truck and trailer and I may try this run :)

No ownage, just thought I'd covered all the bases for those that might bring tow rigs. ;)

Hey sux for me... I can't make it but you guys gotta let me know how it goes for future reference. Maybe when I get my rig compatible I'll go down there to check it out, but I don't want to be the one getting stuck every couple minutes. So let me know the conditions. Have fun!

Well Zav I think you prolly have a good tally on who's going so far.
But don't leave out Jared, I think we can still get him together in time

No Dj will not be with us on this trip, remember I have a 2 seater ;)

Skater, whoa another Bastrop fellow, welcome to the board, so what all do you have to do, to get your Sport ready???
Anything we can help with?
Have I seen you around town?
