For those that have the navigation system, is there somthing that you have to do to get the text portion to work when playing a CD? Thanks,

I don't know. I haven't seen any text from a cd on the display. I don't think it's supposed to display text from a cd. If you find out please post.

I don't have the Nav but the only way I've been able to get the text button to work is with the Sirius running or if I burn my own MP3 CD's.

If by text you mean the artist and the song currently playing, yes the screen will display that if your burn it as a MP3 CD and make sure they are converted to ID3 tag version one.
