My 93 Ford Explorer XLT was stalling everytime I put it into drive unless I gave it some gas. I searched the forum and found the possible remedies. Either the IAC, Fuel Filter, or a cracked spark plug. I'm taking it in to get the IAC changed and a tune up done. It's at 326000 kms so its probably in need. I was so freaked out because I just bought it a few weeks ago. I'm not sure that that is the problem but it sounds right. I'm so glad I joined this forum.
