I just joined this forum because I am impressed with the useful information available here. I just got a 94 explorer sport for my daughter and I need to fix some problems with it. I found answers to all of the issues I am faced with on this forum. The automatic four wheel drive will not ingage, the cruse control does not work, and I will need to replace the radius rod bushings judging from the thud that you hear when the brakes are applied and from the visual inspection of the bushings.
From the postings I know to look at the position of the large gear on the transfer case motor, and I know to look at the cruse control switches. I would like to thank all of the members for the useful information provided. I will do my best to contribute information that will assist others.
