I took your guys advice, and switched over to full synthetic oil, and I must say the difference driving from the shop to my house, (2 miles) was amazing!
With the regular oil in the engine, I was getting some lite valve chatter with 36,000 miles on the odometer (typical with the ohv I'm told).
The synthetic oil in 2 miles of driving, quited the engine down remarkably, and is almost as quite now as my Cadillac engine, which you can barely hear even in the garage.
However, my oil shop put in Castrol Syntech. I suppose that is a good oil, anybody know?
