My fiance took the x to work yesterday, when she went to come home it wouldn't start.. I drove out there and tried a few things..
Sounded like it wanted to, but it wouldn't actually fire.
So I checked fuel relay, fuel cutoff switch, heard the fuel pump.. I was actually quite lost at this point.. I could tell the starter was doing it's job.. but couldn't figure out why the damn thing wouldn't go to the next step.
After only 1 search, I was able to find out about the "flaky" crankshaft position sensor.. called the fiance, and with only 2 little taps to the side, it started up on the first try..
Just wanted to thank you guys for saving me the cost of a tow and service.
