I had about 30k mi or less on the plug.

I noticed that all of the plugs on the left drivers side of the engine bank had oil on the ceramic part of them, the ones on the passenger side cylinder bank looked brand new.

I am not sure if it was the length of the E3 plugs, but we must remeber that the original plug in that #4 cylinder was loose when I went to take it out, so something happened to it. When I put the E3 on with the much bigger and fully intact electrode in the engine made a horrible noise.

It is approximately 5 days since I changed the spark plugs and though the #4 is still loose in the block and I can feel blow by, the engine no longer makes that wrap noise. I have driven the vehicle approximately 15miles since this happened.
