uuuuugggghghhhhhh

that didnt work so good

looks good man, but that pic is HUGE! :)

thanks

thanks I appreciate it. I just cant wait til I can get the dang thing lifted. Then I will be really happy.

What rack did you get, how much and where. Also how did you mount the lights on it. One more how did you run the wires, suggestions. This weekend I am installing new shocks+shackles/TT

Lemme see if I can remember

It is a Surco Roof Rack. I really cant remember the price off the top of my head.. I wanna say like 220. I got it from a store here in Fayetteville. They ordered it for me. The lights are mounted with the mounting brackets you have to order from surco also. You could probably make them for a lot cheaper, but I did not have access to the tools. I have the wires running to the back of the truck and then down around the seal of the tailgate and then running the length of the body underneath. I am planning on rewiring it and this time drilling holes on top. I just did not feel like messing with it originally but now I have more time to clean it up and make it look better.

Looks nice KSprite! I see your from Bragg, whats it like down there right about now? (i'm at Knox) But yeah your truck looks really nice, what lift are you gonna do? I have the TT/Shackle and the 2" PA body lift is sitting in the passenger seat. I have absolutely no time to put it on now since the whole FPCON thing is going on, guard duty every night since the 12th, but oh well, thats life right. Well keep up the good work!

nice truck. how is the reception with your cb antennas on the roof rack? also what cb do you have and which antennas? i'm eventually looking to getting a cb, but i want to collect info on all of em first before i make up my mind. hey next time you're going to be in wilmington, email me and we'll get up and go wheeling!!

It looks good and once you get it lifted a couple of inches it's gonna look bad ass. I like the color of your "ex" as well.

ok lemme see if I can answer everything

YOMIE- Everything was pretty crazy here at Bragg at the beginning but it is pretty calm now. I am in school so I am not involved with any of the guard duty or any of that other crap. As for the lift. I am waiting for Superlift to release there 4" kit for the 97's .. They said it should be out by the end of the year. I just talked to them and they said that they have an Explorer in there right now and are tweaking it. they said they have all the parts and things they need they just need to get it set up to sell.

Blue Steel- My reception has been really good up there. I actually used the roof rack to ground them and it turned out to work really well. I have a Cobra 25 WX ST. I am gonna hook up with Tarhell085 this weekend up in raleigh and we are gonna try to go out and do some wheeling. Yeah I could come up to Wilmington just about any weekend.. Gimme a shout and I will try to head that way.
