1. Already been posted
2. Why torture your explorer by adding a " Body Kit"?
3. Does a fart can come as part of the package?

Shane

You forgot number 4: It's ugly!

RE RE RE POST and why in the lord's good name would you call a kit like that cool? that is ghetto to the extreme :D

ok

Everybody has diff opions i hate people who bash people when some people like it. Thats your opnion

not bashing, just stating my opinion. I think it looks very ugly, maybe if the bumpers had some more curves, it would look alright, but it's ugly.

Have you really taken a good look at that thing, no bashing, just wandering if your seeing it correctly?;)

yea it might be ok if it followed the lines of the explorer like even a little bit. but it doesnt. at all. but hey, whatever floats your boat. just do me one favor...get it painted ;)

Let me remind all of you that if you can't say anything nice, maybe you shouldn't say anything at all. The guy asked a question, wheather you think it is ugly or not is not the answer. Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but at least you could answer his question.

Jughead,
The front and rear bumpers would work, but the side skirts would not, since the 4dr is longer than a 2dr.

yea if you have the know how... and wouldnt mine cutting the brand new kits... you could cut the skirts and do a little bit of fiberglass work and extend them... of course i suggest you know how to work with fiberglass

PEACE

sais on the site that it needs to be modded for a 4-door, this probably means they can help you there, if they post that, it should be an ok project, ask them about it

I don't mean to start a fight or anything, but he asked no questions in his post. He was simply stating that he found something, and he thought they might be cool. If he wasn't leaving it open for discussion, why did he post it?

To work it correctly, I would buy another set ($599) and attached the 2 sets together to make it fit the length of the 4 door. Its one heck of an expensive project but if money is no object then...

... for now I would stay away from this kit. Maybe a better one will show up next year. :crossing finger:

The Explorer Express airdam, Saleen side skirts and a rollpan puts that kit to shame

I never thought of it that way but that is so true, boomin.

ok

Well where can i get saleen side skirts? cuz i know the saleen kits is the best but where can i get it and anyways i was plannin on gettin that kit anyways cuz i can get one custom made cheaper than that one

I don't understand what you just said but you won't find saleen side skirts except on eBay occasionally.

Yes, I think most of us have seen that "Extreme" body kit before. I agree that it is not for everybody. I think I have heard of two people that do like it. I don't think we should put anyone down for liking it. But this web site is a form of public forum and if a guy thinks it's ugly than ok. It is too bad that a company went to all of the trouble to design a kit, make a mold and produce something that looks like it belongs on a Honda Civic (maybe it does not belong on anything, my opinion). They may sell a few? I think if you really want one, just wait a year or two and you could save a lot of money off the $1800. asking price.
I think we could encourage the "Black Magic Mod Company" to work on some Saleen like side skirts after he finishes the roll pans. I know I would carry them on our web site!
