all that damage happened on that one trail? WOW!

I just read that thread....talk about drama!

the one thing a took from the whole thread was this, pick who you wheel with. I just learned that lesson this last weekend myself...after someone hopped in my rig without my permission and ran me over breaking my foot with my OWN truck...

I'm tired of wheeling with random people, maybe its time I find a nice club to join...

That don't look like 'all of a full size anything' anymore...if you had some body on it, it prob'ly wouldn't have destroyed it quite so bad.. (ooo,a Chevy too).......not a good reference......

That trail prob'ly wouldn't have torn-up a Ford X, just because it did a bed-less Chevy.......:)....what ya' think guys? :)

I am going to be going to Evans creek next Saturday, Elbe hills on July 7 and then camping/wheeling at Evans creek again on August 24-26 you are more than welcome to come along

I can run the busywild trail in my explorer with relative ease

july 7th would work for me....

I should be able to make the 7th also. It will be a good test for my newly heim jointed radius arms.

Sorry, I had 11th on my brain since that's when I leave for Disneyland. I meant the 7th.

Hmm, any open seats for me and the kid?

If the wife doesn't come with me, I will pencil you in:salute:
I am going to be trying out my new radius arms this weekend, on my ramp I went from 34-36" of vertical travel to 42"+ before I ran out of ramp

Great, if it works out, we'll come down Friday and stay the night.

I picked up a 1973 Starcrat tent trailer:D

If you're going out Friday night, I'll caravan with you.

Kevin, I was thinking of leaving mid-day to avoid rush-hour. What time could you leave? You'll need at least 1 hour to get this far.

Phil- Do you remember how to get up to the campgrounds? getting a camp site could prove to be difficult the 4th of Juluy weekend is normally really busy up there

AH good point.:( I was thinking the 'after' weekend wouldn't be so bad.

No, I don't think I know where the campground is. Maybe an intentional overnighter isn't such a good idea.

We're camping this weekend but I doubt that'll satisfy us enough.

I might be able to get that day off. I will find out and let you know. Do we have directions yet?

At the town of Elbe, head east on State Route 706 for 6.3 miles, then turn left (directly across from the Rainier Lions Club sign). Drive up a narrow road for 0.6 mile to the end of the pavement and turn left on a State Forest road (unsigned). After 0.7 mile pass the first of two spur road' which branch off to the left. At 1.9 miles from the end of the pavement the road divides; go right for another 0.6 mile to a seconc intersection, and this time go left. In 0.1 mile reach a 3-way intersec tion at the entrance to Elbe Hills 4-Wheel Drive Area
