The fuel pump has no voltage going into it.

hi i have a 91 explorer there is power to the 30amp fuse but there is no feed to the fuel cut off switch any ideas please if i bridge the cut off switch and give it power it will start thanks

are you getting power to one side of the switch or not if not you have a break in your power wire to the switch obviously and either you will have to find it and repair it or you could just run a new wire to it if you are getting power to one side of the switch but nothing to the other side of it then you may need a new cut-off switch if that is the case you could temporarily jump the switch until your new switch comes in at the parts store I find trying to read a post without proper punctuation a real pain in the azz just sayin :cool: :p:

no where is the pump relay located,i have no power to cut off switch thanks paul
 






should be under the hood look for the relay boxes either on the drivers or pass. side.
 






On my '92 (and I believe your '91 is the same), the relays are located underneath the fuses in the power distribution box. The "fuse section" of the power distribution box lifts up to reveal the "relay section" underneath.
