I installed my HU yesterday. Took about 20 minutes :) It was dark out so I didnt take pics, but will today. Here are the parts that will be going in

Pioneer Premeire DEH P700BT
Pioneer GM-5300 amp 125x2 RMS
CDT CL-61a TWS-25 components w/ adapter plates I ordered from mjmautoinnovations on ebay.

The amp and crossovers are going to be mounted where the 3rd row seat would've been, the tweeters will be mounted around the same place that JasonF installed his. Running the wiring and the mic for my bluetooth today. Ill take pics of the process :)

I haven't decided if Im just going to stick to front stage or try rear fill of the stockers powered by the HU.

Cant wait to get it done!

okay, time for progress pics. I got the wiring ran for everything except for the ground, but Im doing it when I pull the rear seat to mount the amp on the passenger side and the crossovers under the driver side. Im waiting on the speaker adapter plates to come in, so until then, the components aren't going in :(

I didn't realize how shotty this pic was. Ill take another later.

As I was posting these pics, I noticed a design flaw :( I hope I ran enough wires on the pass. side to reach the cross over on the driver side :( Oh well, if not, ill just mount them on each side of the amp :D

Ahhh gotta love installing systems :D

Cant wait to see more pics and final results :D
Are you doing a sub too?

Get some vids too :p

no, i decided to pass on subs even though I have 2 RD classics in a sealed box, a Phoenix Gold Xenon amp and a 4g amp kit.

here's my setup from when it was in my Jeep. All the same things, less the amp. Running a Pioneer now cause I sold the other because I didnt know I was going to be getting another car. I also have them in a sealed box now for crisper bass.

i'm installing an sub amp, what gage or size of wire for power and ground did you use?

What size is your amp?

Pioneer GM D7400M
Peak Music Power: 800 Watts
Number of Channels: 1
Load Impedance Capability: 2~8 Ohm
Continuous Power (4 ohm): 250W x 1

You would be good with like a 10 guage, but I look at it as you'll probably in the future get something bigger, so why not just get big wires now and run them, you cant overpower an amp with big wires, but you can underpower it with too thin wires...

You can open that black piece and run the wires inside along with the factory ones, that'll protect them better

gotta remember whats L and R ;)

You already have a white plug and a white colored rca, why not plug white to white, that way you don't have to remember?

Id suggest 4g. Im only running 8 because my fuse blew on my 4g and my amp is only 250w rms.

If I do decide to run my subs, Ill use 1/0 G to a distro block, then 4g to the amps.

tonight I got the crossovers mounted and wired and the tweeters put in the doors. My only issue so far is mounting the amp. The floor isn't leveled so i'm not sure how im going to do it yet. I am also still waiting on my adapter plates to come in, then it'll be complete.

how I got the speaker wires through the door.

driver side tweeter. I should've taken a pic of the back to show that I misjudged and it's right under the side mirror switch...like right under!

I didn't want to use the dremel after using the hole saw, so I went with the next size up...BIG MISTAKE! the hole was almost too big!
