I dont know but id love to get my hands on one of them h2's that are the SUT's, they look really nice.

I just love the front of them, there just awsome.. the looks that is.

I don't think it's as much as a jeously issue (for me atleast) as just the fact that they don't need it. Believe me, and I don't want to mouth off here, but if we wanted an H2, we could afford one easily. But our Explorer gets the exact same job done for $30,000 less, looks being irrelevant. Someone said said, "take what you need, and need what you take". I understand that can be a bit restrictive, but its a pretty good thing to live by. I'm not gonna say I do that all the time- if I could truly afford the specific cars I want, I would be an even easier target for bashing- it's just the fact that people seem to need these things as a security blanket or something, just to affirm to the world that they are "cool".

Oh, so do I. Great car. I've driven my friends, and it's awesome. He's getting ready to send his to Mallet for some "tweaks."

You just said it perfectly yourself. If you could afford them, you'd buy them. Well, these people can afford them, so they do buy them. I think it's less a need to reaffirm their "coolness" than just being able to buy the car they can afford.

There is a friend of hte family who is a rather well-off surgeon. He has 12 Ferraris. does he have them to show everyone how "cool" he is. Nope. He's married, a father of four, has a successful job, great house. What does he care what some jerk thinks when he drives by. Trust me, he's not trying to impress anyone. He just loves fine Italian cars, and his collection shows that. He's a car nut just like you or me. The only difference is he can afford to feed that obsession quite well.

Do people get on his case because he doesn't drive them all at 120mph all the time like they were 'designed for'?

No, but he's a nutcase. He probably does do 120 most of the time when he's by himself. He also takes it to the track quite often. Tires only last him about 8000 miles or so (especially the rears!).

Here's a interesting tidbit about the new Ferrari Ezno....
Oil- $60 a quart
Complete brake job @1200 miles (600 track) $24,000
And the car is $652,000

Wowzers.

i hate the fact that im adding to the 5 million "i hate H2" posts, but this pic made me LMAO :D

The only thing I really like about the H2 is the commercial with the kid that builds one to compete in the soap-box derby race.

That ad is flat classic................

Im not sure what the lift it, its just a guess by looking at it. here it is

If I took my truck to the wash, it'd be cleaner than a whistle. So would yours. Or anyone elses for that matter.

So basically if you off-road, you must keep your truck dirty all the time or you're a poser. Thank god I found that out, I was just about to wash it off.

Cost up to $100,000 deductible on vehicles over 6000 pounds. Hmmm. I think I have an idea...

So what does it mean when you like to take your truck and get it dirty, and you also like to detail your truck and keep it nice and clean?

That ad made me LMAO....the kid is a better designer than the boys at GM LOL

well guys i hate to admit it but we gotta respect the general. they made a fullsize suv with rising air suspension, two speed tcase, 35 inch bfg's and a locker! We rag on it for the 6.0 being underpowered but it still has over 300 horse. Our ol' ford made there fullsize suv a fully independent suspension low to the ground piece of crap with a dog of a 260 horse 5.4 that would not be able to come close to following an h2 over a trail that would be a walk in the park for an h2. love em or hate em they still are a pretty impressive rig compared to what everyone else is coming out with i dont see anything better in the market, cept maybe get a 6.0 excursion with 35's and a locker for the same price but it still doesnt come stock that way

Cayenne

i see alot of people call it a glorified Tahoe, but this is partly untrue. the H2 has the same front as the 1ton chevy trucks... there is an ARB for those. the rear is a 14 bolt, which is arguably stronger than a D60 (only by a little). sure, the tie rods are junk..... there's no doubt about that. i personally dont like what the H2 has become... but i dont hate the actual truck itself. 340hp. V8, 35's, 1ton running gear, rear locker, etc. all stock.

LoL, yea there are more than a few here. I personally have good things to say about them. It might be because my neighbor has one and he beats the **** out of it :D When I get my X lifted and locked I want to go wheeling with him, so I can show him up ofcourse
