I can actually see good..sorta...from both sides. Sure, I love playing my system as loud as I can whenever I can just as the next teenager. But I guess I was just raised to have respect for other people. When it comes to a stop light I don't like people staring at me. And playing my system loud is just another attractant. If you were old...no offense to the older people on the board...would you want to be listening to other peoples music or seeing things in your car shake because of someone else? I cerainly wouldn't so thats why I have the common courteous to turn it down at a light...and turn it down in a neighborhood...especially at night. Oh and btw...a lot of cop cars have led bars on top now...makes them a lot smaller .

I just read through this thread and i gotta say I dont like people who drive around doing whatever to draw attention. There is alot of that in my area. I cant tell you how many jacked up trucks there are in my area that look like they've never been in 4wd. Insomniac, Dude There is no way you paid for that truck yourself. I own a stripped 96 sport and I pay 250 a month on my truck. Im 20 and at that age there is almost no way youre gonna be able to buy a vehicle outright unless you have some amazing skill that you can profit from. Ive got a meager system in my truck. Ive got 2 12" subs I bought off of ebay I bought my amp at walmart I built my own box I bought a cheap headunit. I dont even think im gonna keep the subs in my truck After I partially flooded my interior down In Atsion NJ. I fortunantly didnt damage any of my electronics but Id rather go 4wheeling then drive up and down the street trying to impress people with the amount of money i can sink into my truck. The only thing i get a kick out of is the look people give me when they see an explorer driving down the road covered in mud. Everyone around me has a loud system or an exhaust or lights or some other common mod. I tell yeah they think theyre setting themselves apart when all theyre really doing is conforming. Thats my two cents and im not going to post any more about this. Ive probably get myself in enough trouble already with my comments.

subs and amps do not make up a system... just so you know the people you are trying to impress by making all that noise (guys like me in cars more pimped out than yours) are probably just laughing at you for having more bump than the rest of your "system" can keep up with. also on the same note if your system doesn't sound good playing the floyd, ozzie, madonna, AND ludicris its not a system... and

I dont get it why are you guys mad at us Audio heads that enjoy building systems? I dont get mad at people who raise there trucks, lower, or dont do anything to them. I mean this is a complete disgrace that you guys are either jealous or dont understand systems at all. So are you telling me that dbdrag races and all other people who build those competition vehicles for outlaw spl are stupid? Some people like the system thing so dont hate on them for spending there money on it.

I love systems and music... its a type of art if done CORRECTLY

I love listening to music LOUDLY, so long as its clear!

but in situations where it is needed to respect other people... i turn it down.

If you like THUMP ... have someone fart on your head and sing "row your boat"... cause thats what a ****ty system sounds like.

Ive been reading the thread and this thread makes no damn sense. How did it get so off subject so quickly. Yes I understand that the courteous thing to do is turn down the system i agree with that. Just dont tell me that i have to do it all the time. I mean whats the point to have a nice system and not play it? Thats like telling someone with a sports car to drive slow you just cant do it or like telling troll to keep it under 30 HAHA chuckyd look at my specs. on my system im not going to have someone fart on my head playing row the boat lol. Hey expo 5.0 we know subs and amps dont make the whole system. Your not talking to some rookies who go to best buy spend $1000 for some crap 12's and some cheap amped up system here. If i wanted to spend thousands on making my ride look nice i would just like you probably have done to yours. why is this thread so off topic?

i love how all of you just assume that my system is crap, ya know i never intended to start any crap on this thread, and it's funny how hypocritical all you are. "PM people," "This thread isn't for arguing," and crap like that is all i hear from all of you and yet you continue to post replys telling me that your car is better than mine, or that im young and stupid, or that i'll change.....wow. My first post was just to support a fellow sound junkie in the fact that screw people who think that systems are too loud....did i ever say that i wasn't courteous? i just feel that if i wanna play it loud, im damn gonna do it, and ya, i didn't pay for my car by myself, but i did pay for my system. It's amazaing how some people get off by talking crap about other peoples cars....as far as im concerned everyone that has ever posted a reply to this thread has issues....including myself!

chucky my last post does not apply to all, but to a select pompus few, freedom to the bumpers is all is say, no1 tells you to turn down that 4 wheel drive do they?
