Hello to everybody, glad I found you. I have a problem with my 03 Sport Trac.
Check eng light on, computer says both banks lean. Was running great, now after idling for a few minutes, eng starts running rough and dies unless I race the eng a little. Any ideas ?

Welcome to this forum! What was the code? It could be a vacuum leak, bad spark plugs, or possibly bad intake manifold gaskets.

CEL on eng. dies after idling for a few minutes

I haven't had time to check the IAC and I can't remember the codes.
I will hook up the ODB2 tomorrow and get the codes. How much does a
cold air kit help the 4.0 and what is the best one? I am an optomist
I guess, I have not fixed my problems yet and I am thinking about doing
something else to help my Sport Trac. LOVE IT when its right.

Fixxxer,
The modem went out on my computer so I have been down for a while.
I checked the voltage going to the IAC and the ohms on it and it checked ok.
It was not carboned up to much but I cleaned it and reinstalled.
I still have the same problem. I now get the following codes:
P2195,2197,0171B,0300B, and 0316.
Any ideas ?
