And I don't know what they are for. Don't want to remember too late. Ones a little O-Ring, the other is a flat metal ring.

It's about that size. The metal ring is almost a spring, except the two metal pieces lay flat.

 

[FR-425]

The retaining ring and o-ring are for the throw-out bearing.

Only used if you are re-using the old throw-out bearing.

If you bought a complete slave you can just shelve those for next slave replacement.
