another bildge pump blower motor no, dont waste your money. looks like the same guy that got kicked off of ebay b4. if you really want one, check around most boating supply shops. they can order you one for $15.

Well, it does look like a little supercharger. If it works the same way and has the ability to move enough air, I don't see why it wouldnt work. I dont know any numbers or anything as far as how much CFM a supercharger moves. Do you know? I know it would depend on RPM, but roughly...

a lot more than 105 I know decent carbs flow 600+ cfm.

Like I've said before, if you have a big enough electric motor and pump enough air it will make power. But above a certain RPM it will create much more restriction than power.

heres the story on ALL of the electric charger/turbo crap. the only way to get one that is powerful enough to actually create boost is to get a very BIG one. basically, if you get one and dont need to go with a monster altinator and dual batteries, then its not gonna work.

that bildge pump will not ADD 105 cfm, as the engine will already be sucking 200-500cfm. if you stick a 105 cfm fan in a closed tube in front of a motor that needs 500 cfm, then the engine will be trying to suck the blades off of the fan. period.

also, those cheapo blower motors have a very short duty cycle. they are not designed to run all of the time. eventually, it gets hot, and the little $1.29 bearing inside it fails. when this happens, it grenades, possibly slinging hot plastic fan parts into your open throttle body. not a good scenerio.

ever wonder why there is never articles in truck/car/suv magazines about these things?

riiiiiiiiiiiight...I hate that my Saab's turbo reuses all that hot exhaust gas, intead of pumping fresh air into the engine...

those damn inefficient Saab (and all other non-electric pump) turboes.

I like how this guy disses turboes, yet calls his product a turbo, even though it uses no principles of turbo technology...

bad boy is the only correct labelling he's used.
