Hi anybody ever had this problem ? my thirs break light in the back when I hit the breaks goes on for a milisecond and goes off even if my other lights are working properly....first I thought that my light was gone, but it was that it would ligh at all....any clues ? any fuse or relay for this light only ?

Isn't that the funky neon light on the '95? I believe there is a ballast that controls that 3rd brake light. That may be going bad.
 






Yeah, it's flourescent, and I don't think that they light up as fast as the incandescent regular brake lights. I don't completely understand what the actual problem is...
 






take off your rear hatch inside trim. Right behind the 3rd break light is a little black box held in by 2 phillips head screws. It has 4 wires coming out of it. 2 are regular wires and 2 are rubbry like. This part is the ballast that lights the 3rd break light. This is the part that is probably NFG.
