i started hearing a slight grind when i shift into third gear every now and then. i have a 5 speed in my 98 4cyl ranger. i changed the oil in my tranny and it went away for a week or two now it is back. i just used the recomended automatic tranny fluid in it. have you guys had a similar problem and used somthing else to ease the pain of the gear grind?
