Hey there,
ok, first, unfortunetly at the moment i don't have a voltmeter, so i'm going to have to figure this out on symtoms.
My truck only clicks when i try and start it, it starts easily wiht a boost, and bearly when i hooked up two dead batteries together...so im guessing it's not the starter or selonoid, but that the alternator hasn't been charging the battery and now it's fully gone...
Also, the battery idot light would light up when ever i floored it???

Once jump started and running, can you run headlights at usual brightness for an extended period while driving? If so, that would suggest a functioning alternator/charging system and rather a bad battery that can't maintain a charge. I would first begin by checking the battery cable connections to ensure no corrosion.

i've hooked up two batteries, and in fact the older, less charged one worked slighly better. My cables are in good shape...
