Interior is now non-existant with the exception of the dash. Windows are all removed as is the rear hatch.

38s have arrived and are ready to go.

Getting ready to drop the tank to make way for the D60 rear and to put in a fuel cell.

Also getting ready to hack the rear fenders and put in the tubs.

Once I get a stand for my bender the cage will go in and bumpers and sliders will be made.

Still waiting on the money for the coilovers and on the TQ converter and flexplate for the C5. Then I can install that and put the Atlas 2 behind it. Driveshafts will then be needed.

Suspension for the front D60 will be ready by late January.

Look for more updated in the Project Section.

So will this beast be seen at Moab2002???????????

Doubtful.

That would be one hell of a haul from KY. Someday I plan on getting out to wheel out west, but for now it's mainly going to be Attica and other areas around me.

Holy $#!+

Man your C-R-A-Z-Y ! :D

In a good way of course :D

What a machine!

Please keep us informed of the whole C5 thing.....it will be interesting to see how that works out.

The picture in my mind of what you're building looks awesome! It'd be great to see it out at Paragon or GWNF or Tellico one day.

Now would be a great time to paint it if you ever plan on doing so.

Um, you mean like....Corvette C5?

I've got an image in my head too. That's a big part of the problem!!!

It's going to get an interior cage. Once I roll it enough I am sure a majority of the rear sheetmetal and roof will be removed.

Going to be making tubular doors for it as well.

I'm going to leave the paint as is since there isn't a whole lot to paint. I am however going to use the bedliner stuff on the interior.

If anyone in the area wants to get together and BS let me know. I am free until the 29th.

No....like Ford C5.

They offered them in 84 for sure. Maybe late 83 as well behind the 2.8Ls in Rangers and Bronco IIs.

As we all know the 2.8, 2.9 and 4.0 all share the same tranny to motor bolt pattern and all can interchange.

It is identical to the C4 in terms of strength and in the fact that it is only a three speed. That doesn't bother me because this thing hopefully will never see the road!!

I see, well, shows you how much I know.

Oh well, I was thinking Corvette C5 POWER........down boy.

I just had my brothers C5 rebuilt (going in his '84 Toyota behind the 302). The only difference with the C5 and C4 is that the C5s internal components are a little beafer, so they are actually tougher than the C4s, in terms of torque capacity. We actually thought we had a C4, until the rebuild shop tore it apart and called us. Talk about a nice surprise!

Damn now ya aint choppin it again? Is that the frt axle I see layin there? How did ya get it out? Mine has no frt axle right now.....Still waitin on Riff :hammer:
Good thing we got the forklift to move it around with:(

Heheheh.....I became He-Man for 10 minutes.

I moved the Camaro from under the deck, cut a small hole, ran a small length of chain through it and around, hooked the orange chain to the axle like we did, hooked both to teh come-a-long, lifted it enough to get out of th ebed of the SuperDuty, then lowered it onto one of those furniture dollies.

Worked well actually. Now I have a new engine/axle/heavy stuff out of the bed lift. :D

Decided to run with the roof on, no windows, doors, or rear hatch and an internal cage until I roll it enough where the body is mangled, then chop it. Hopefully a steel supplier will be open tomorrow and I can get the tubing I need to start the front cage and body cage!!!!

From looking at this thread and your other thread it looks like Rick will have some real competition.

Just let Alex spot ya and that shouldn't take long.....
