This thing is a pain to wash!

Yes the leaf blower does the trick start from the top and blow toward the ground I even use a water filter on my water hose for rinsing and always wash your vehicle in the shade!!

Water filter on the hose? Where did you find such a thing?

I just picked up this stuff called "Ezdetailer". Its a carnuba wax. I have owned my ex for 9 days now and this was the first "wash"Iv'e done. It looks great! With this stuff, you use it once (buffing it out with a micro fiber towel) and then you rinse the car off for 3 months after that. No soap required. Only time will tell how well just rinsing it off works, but wow does it look good in my driveway right now!

unless you like swirls, I'd only use this stuff after you wash your car.

Also, carnauba wax wont last three months. If you want months of protection, you need a good sealant, not wax. I use Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant then top it with their Midnight Sun carnauba wax.

Or you could just go to a car wash and not put all of those chemicals in our streets. Just a thought.

This is an old thread but I thought I would add something as I feel the EX is a PITA to wash. I vacuum the water out of the crevices and mirrors with a Shop Vac. Works better than a blower !!

What filter are your using? Does it just attach to your hose or is it permanent?

$7 drive thru car wash. Done in less than 5 minutes!
In the 1 1/2 years I've had mine, I've only washed it twice myself. The dealer has washed and dried it 5 times for free! (They do that with every service.)
