I've had this insatlled in my truck for close to 2 years. I stole the idea from some one else on the site a while back. It's not perfect but, it's not a show truck soo....

how did you do this? is it just lexan? with the explorer cut out? what lighting? etc.

Hmmmm, I think you stole that from me I installed mine about 3 years ago. It lights up at night also.

Ok It's tinted plastic or lexan, origanaly used in a horse trailer to cover sides. Then cut to shape (grinder works best) the Exploere sign is just a transparency double printed off the computer. In the day time you can not see the explorer sign. It's just black. Lighting~ I just bought a socket at pep boys and stuck it there. It' wired into the lights so the dimmer works with it. I'd make it better, but I'm like whatever about it. If the truck was a street truck I would.

Well I don't have factory fogs but all the wireing is there just no switch. So I used that! The factory swith is on the dimmer like the rear wiper, 4x4 switch , Ect.

i am actually t6hinking about doing something like that for my yota... but with the toyota Oval emblem i nthe middle and light switches on the sides...
