I was thinking about getting the BBK 66 mm throttle body for my 95' Explorer so I measured the stock TB and it's 66mm already. How is a 200$ BBK going to make a difference if it's the same size as stock?

Stock should be 58 mm.

Which motor are you running? Is it the 5.0 or the 4.0? If the 5.0 then that TB should be a 65mm and the BBK won't work. If the 4.0, then somebody must have switched your stock 58mm already.
You are correct though...if you already have the larger throttle body then the BBK won't do you any good.

I'm gonna just ask to make sure....

You measured the bore of the throttle body right? Not the outside diameter?

Yes I measured the inside bore. rechecked it today and upon closer inspection I can see that the bore tapers as it nears the butterfly. I can't get my calipers inside to measure the butterfly but it looked to be close to the 58mm that Alec said it should be. Guess I'll be ordering me a new BBK! Thanks for your input.

And the BBK would say "BBK" on one of the machined outside surfaces of the unit.
