Throttle mod??...can't find it

Hey there....can someone help me??....

I know there is a thread here somewhere that discusses the throttle mod using Zip ties....so that when you put the peddle to the floor, the throttle body fully opens...my 98 I believe has a stretched throttle cable (its the original I am sure) ....want to do it this weekend, but can't find the thread??..also how long do you think it will take to do this mod?

I just did mine on the weekend and am very happy with the results. It really only takes a matter of minutes.

Wow that was SUPER SIMPLE!!!! ...took all of 3 mins....took longer to get the zip ties and cutter....had a 1/4" play ...not anymore...can't wait to see what happens on the road!

It's not so much a mod as it is a fix, from the factory the pedal to the floor should have the throttle at wide open, over time the cable stretches and this is a quick fix rather than replacing the cable and doing further adjustments.

I bet I need this. My gas pedal rattles like mad when the cruise is on because the cable is slack. Thanks for the easy link.
