Throttle positioning sensor

I tested my TPS today and from my understanding it's supposed to start at 1v and gradually increase not start at 3.8v and decrease

Are you sure your leads are plugged into the correct holes on your multi meter?
I cant see well enough in the video, but the POS. (+) lead should be plugged into the volts DC (red) hole?

If you've used a multimeter before then you'd know you have plug the positive into 2 different spots depending what you're doing
