Thumbs Up!

Ok, so this is a bit silly... but I was driving north on the highway when I noticed a 2020 explorer in my rear view... look a little closer and its a Blue ST... We pace each other for a little while then traffic allows him to pull up next to me (got to say the street pack wheels appear to float at 65mph...).. When we get even, I look over... just to be rewarded with a big smile and two thumbs up. Returned the thumbs up and and watched his passenger just shake her head and bury her face in her hands.

I guess us ST folks are little nuts... and little bit of a club.

I was on a local freeway last week in busy traffic and noticed I was about to pass a black ST and thought “I should tap the horn and give him a thumbs up” then realized I was driving my other car.

My wife would have had the same reaction.

I get thumbs up and gawkers and talkers often at shopping centers. Lots of positivity.
Btw the rain sensing wipers are awesome!

Actually had a police man walk over and check out the vehicle outside my kids school in them parking lot... everyone thought I was getting a ticket.

Have you had them before? They are a nice feature and I have had then on my previous vehicles. They still give me a bit of a startle every now and then when they do a random swipe on a nice sunny day.

Back in mid July, driving up the 14 freeway from Santa Clarita to Lancaster, I had a car do rolling circles around me while the passenger hung out of the window taking video. I looked on youtube a few times so see if I could find it, but not yet.

I was in South Texas earlier this summer and border agent spent some extra time with me at a checkpoint, asking questions about the vehicle and checking it out. Never mind the 30 or so
Vehicles behind me wanting to get to their destinations.

I also had a professor at Rutgers walk over and ask me about the car... the only thing he was interested in was the vertical display... he loved it. So that makes me 3/10 in terms of love/hate comments luckily, I'm one of the 3. Unfortunately my wife is not one of the three....
