I am getting a thumping noise when the ex reaches speeds of about 55mph. It happens in both 3rd and 4th gear, and appears to be happening when the torque converter locks up. I put a tube of Dr. tranny's shudder fix in it, but the problem still remains. Can anyone help. It doesn't hurt the performance at all, but it is quite annoying. I had the fluid changed last week, but it wasn't flushed. Will flushing it get rid of the problem?
