Hey all - I still have yet to replace my tie rod ends. Now I'm getting the "tell-tale" clunking when starting and stopping. I know it's my tie rod ends. The bushings are shot.

Question though - replacing the bushings with the polyeurathane bushings should mean never having to lube again, true? I assume that because the poly bushings are solid while the original rubber ones are grease-filled boots. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks.

My poly bushing get greased 2x / year and they do not squeak at all. I drilled a hole in them which match up with a grease Zerk. On my old trucks they would squeak like crazy so I just got in the habit during the spring and fall check out.
