How can I tighten my front suspension up? I have install poly bushings and TT in the front it is still WAY too squishy. What else can I do?

big **** sway bar with some beefy shocks, wonder if RS9000 shocks fit just crank up the preload and hammer your brains out on every bump bwahaha, seriousley check out a better sway bar and some pricey shocks, the best thing i ever did was throw my passenger car tires in the bushes and put LT's on but i dont think tires are your problem ;)

The 98 has a huge sway bar and if poly bushings have been added, thats as good as it gets there,

Shocks - consider Edelbrock ISA.

Good lyck.....

Best (tightest) shocks?

Edelbrock ISA, OME or Bilsteins... all are expensive and all are pretty stout but which are the best for performance?

I took a good hard look before I bought mine and decided on the Edelbrocks.

Good luck.....

aldive, he's got a mountie, I thought those were a year behind our explorers for a while? I'm most likely wrong but, he might still have the old sway bar.

haus swaybar...

I have a haus front swaybar... it's like 1 5/16 or something... still trying to get bushings for it. They should be here within the week from energy.

shocks...

Someone convince me to buy a shock other than Bilstein... please.

:D Ach! Krupp ist Blistein.

I am extremely pleased with the tight performance using Edelbrock ISA'a for lowered Explorers on my 99.

i think mine is too tight and looks like a low rider(not what i'm looking for). I just added new springs, shocks . R. arm poly bushings. And I still have only about an inch or so from the bump stops. I think i got good spring from explorer express. Lastly it rides like a dump truck.

Koni Shocks...

Not that expensive is always better but usually expensive does lead to better products. What about Koni shocks?
