Anyone ever used Timbrens on the front suspension of a 1st Gen Sport Trac? I have a small sno-way plow (300LBS total) I will be installing and will be considering beefing up the front end if it starts taking a toll.....

Not familiar with them. Your Trac 4x4 has torsion front suspension, be careful of what you hang on it. Of course some grille guards weigh half what your plow weighs!

Is the 1st Gen Sport Trac front suspension different from the early 2000's Ranger suspensions?

The plow I bought came off a 2000 Ranger. I have seen a few different Snow plow mfgs recommending light weight models for the Rangers and Sport Tracs... I was very hesitant to mount a plow, which is why I went with one of the lightest commercial plows available (Snoway ST series)...

Trying to research how best not to destroy my front end, and still be able to do some plowing...

Thanks for any help.

You'll probably be ok with that lightweight plow.
